   (formal, highly addressee-lowering) An expression used to indicate the speaker's strong will or plan to do a certain thing.

   (아주낮춤으로) 말하는 사람이 어떤 일을 꼭 하겠다는 자신의 강한 의지나 계획을 나타내는 표현.

• 집안의 원수를 꼭 갚을 테다.

  I will surely avenge my family.

• 오늘의 모욕을 잊지 않을 테다.

  I will not forget today's humiliation.

• 내 말 안 들으면 모두 내쫓을 테다.
