-을 줄 모르다

don't know how to ~

The negative counterpart of -을 줄 알다; attaches to a verb stem to state that someone does not know how to do something, or lacks a certain fact or awareness.

Examples

  • 저는 아직 운전할 줄 몰라요.

    I don't know how to drive yet.

  • 동생은 김치찌개를 끓일 줄 모른다.

    My younger sibling doesn't know how to make kimchi stew.

  • 할아버지는 컴퓨터를 사용할 줄 모르세요.

    My grandfather doesn't know how to use a computer.
