   An expression used to indicate that the act or state mentioned in the preceding statement existed in the past.

   앞말이 나타내는 동작이 일어나거나 그 상태가 나타난 때가 있음을 나타내는 표현.

   ※ ‘ㄹ’을 제외한 받침 있는 동사와 형용사 뒤에 붙여 쓴다.

• 저는 중국에 가 본 적이 있습니다.

  I have been to China before.
