   An expression used to indicate the speaker's hope or wish, or the speaker's wish that the result would be different from reality.

   말하는 사람의 소망이나 바람을 나타내거나 현실과 다르게 되기를 바라는 것을 나타내는 표현.

   ※ ‘ㄹ’을 제외한 받침 있는 동사와 형용사 또는 ‘-었-’, ‘-겠-’ 뒤에 붙여 쓴다.

• 빨리 방학이 왔으면 좋겠어.

  I wish vacation would come soon.

• 사고 싶은 걸 다 사게 돈이 많았으면 좋겠다.

  I wish I had enough money to buy everything I want.

• 너무 더워서 시원한 콜라라도 한 잔 마셨으면 좋겠네.

  It's so hot, I wish I could at least have a cold cola.

• 하루 종일 비가 지겹게 오네요. 그러게요. 내일은 날씨가 맑으면 좋겠어요.

  It's been raining all day, so annoying. I know. I hope it's sunny tomorrow.

• 우리 가족이 항상 건강하면 좋겠다.

  I hope my family stays healthy always.

• 지수는 가끔 자신이 남자이면 좋겠다고 생각하곤 한다.
